I’m Thea Joseph Baynes, a Master Loc Guide, educator, and product innovator rooted in the vibrant heart of the Caribbean. As the founder of The Loc’d Lounge and creator of SereniTeaLocs™, I’ve dedicated over seven years to perfecting the art and science of tinyloc care, combining expert technique with a deep reverence for the sacredness of crown work.

My journey began as a single mother of two beautiful girls, balancing motherhood with a passion for helping others embrace the beauty, strength, and freedom that their tinylocs represent. What started as a small, intimate studio has grown into a brand recognized for its luxurious and holistic approach that marries education, innovation, and empowerment.

​At The Loc’d Lounge, I specialize in the precision of the interlocking technique, creating and maintaining healthy, flourishing tinylocs. Through SereniTeaLocs™ Certification, I now share my expertise with students across the Caribbean, teaching not only the technical skills of a professional loctician but also the mindset and confidence required to thrive in this sacred industry, as a Loc Guide.​
