The Loc’d Lounge Graduates First Cohort of SereniTeaLocs™ Certified Loc Guides, Marking a New Era in Loc Education and Sacred Crown Care

 

Antigua, November 2025 — The Loc’d Lounge proudly announces the successful graduation of the first cohort of SereniTeaLocs™ Certified Loc Guides, establishing a significant milestone in loc-care education across Antigua and the Caribbean region.

 

The inaugural ceremony, held on November 9th at The Listening Spa in Bay Gardens, celebrated six women who completed this transformative certification program. SereniTeaLocs™ is the first of its kind in Antigua, offering a comprehensive training experience that blends technical loc mastery, spiritual grounding, client psychology, and holistic business development.

 

Created by Master Loc Guide and Founder Thea Joseph Baynes, the program is built on the foundation that Crown Work is Sacred Work. It is designed not only to elevate the professional standards of loc artistry, but to strengthen the personal, spiritual, and ethical foundation of every Loc Guide who steps into this calling.

 

“SereniTeaLocs™ was created to restore reverence to Crown care,” says Joseph Baynes. “Our Loc Guides are not only trained in technique. They are trained in discipline, mindfulness, integrity, and the responsibility that comes with touching another person’s Crown. This first cohort represents the beginning of a legacy that will expand across our region.”

 

Throughout the program, students received guided instruction in Sacred Crown Assessment, Crown Realignment Techniques, Client Communication, Professional Conduct, Business Foundations, Marketing and Mindset Mastery. Their journey was supported by program contributors, including Ms. Tarsha Henry (Finance and Business Development), Ms. Sharifa George (Marketing Education), and Mrs. Tiffany Tonge-Knowles (Program Editor and Guest Speaker).

 

The Loc’d Lounge also extends gratitude to Dwayna Joseph of The Listening Spa for providing the serene venue, Meg Total Wellness, and Devoncia Ralph of Rae-el Collections for gift certificate contributions, and Kanesha James of Basil Box for elevating the ceremony with a curated culinary experience.

 

As the program expands, SereniTeaLocs™ aims to establish a growing network of professionally trained Loc Guides who embody both technical excellence and sacred responsibility. This certification now stands as a developing standard for those seeking to pursue loc-care as a career grounded in service, alignment, and integrity.
